My Favorite Movies

A while ago I made a list of my top 10 favorite movies, and had a lot of fun doing so, so I thought I’d share it with the hope that you might make one too. It was really hard determining what made the cut, and then also how to rank them, but overall was a great mindful exercise. I’ve written a little micro reason for why each movie is individually special, which I hope resonates with you if you have seen the film, or makes you wanna see it if you haven’t. I’ve also included a little synopsis below of how all of these movies are similarly special, which was also really fun to think about. Hope you enjoy reading and please send me your lists!

3) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Clementine

4) Y Tu Mama También - Bros

5) In the Mood for Love - Every frame is a painting

6) Call me by Your Name - Summertime sadness

7) Worst Person in the World - Love

8) Kiki’s Delivery Service - Vibes

9) Moonlight - Chef’s kiss

10) School of Rock - Jack Black (Should’ve won an Oscar)

All of these movies are about love. Most of them are romantic (no surprises there), but they’re also about friendship and family, and I don’t really think there’s anything else that movies need to be about. I think music is the coolest part of movies, and these movies all have beautiful soundtracks, which also points to how they all have their own style, which is also really cool.
